The GCS Mission
Genetic Counselling Services features a unique collaboration of knowledge and
experience in the areas of veterinary science, genetics, breeding,
software development and data-analysis. Field of operations encompasses
the full range of aspects related to the breeding and keeping of
companion animals. Central concern in all this is the health and
well-being of the various breeds and species, individual animals as
well as entire populations. Many years of accumulated experience and
tailor-made software enable the Institute to interpret and analyse
pedigree and health data, and to present its findings and
recommendations in convenient reports. For judicious development of
breeding policies the Institute is a reliable and realistic consultant.
